People said it was to dangerous, why didn't anyone listen?!

The Winter Olympics are being held in Vancouver, Canada. We all probably have watched some part of the Olympics this year, but what I'm sure you've seen or heard is the young 21 year old, Nordar Kumaritashvili. Nordar was a luge slider, and was taking a practice run when he lost control of his sled going over 90 mph. Earlier Nordar told his father that he was scared of the track. The track, Whistler Sliding Centre was said to be the fastest ever. My concern is if so many people were wrecking, and getting hurt. Why would you continue to let them use it. A young man lost his life on the Whistler because, it was simply just to fast.
If people complained about it being to fast why wouldn't they try to fix the problem. Still to this day all they have done is moved the men's starting point down to where the women start, and they have built a wall where Nordar went off course before flying into the pillar. This course is horrible I believe. It's putting peoples lives in danger. Not only the competitors but the fans also. You watch the Olympics and the fans are right there, in the action. So close they could almost touch them. If one person loses control of their sled, they could be seriously hurt, or killed. I believe they should of taken the time to re-do the track. They should of got many workers to work on the track until the racers felt it was safe for them to ride on again. A man lost his life here, and they barely made any safety precautions to change it.
